Kaffir lime zest

We offer you exceptional zests, made of specially selected fruits, picked when fully ripe, washed, finely peeled and extensively and gently dried in the sun. The dominant odour is of course lemon and lime, but with sweet notes evoking candied citron zest. It has a beautiful camphor and menthol odour, evoking eucalyptus, with a spicy touch reminiscent of ginger. This product is a fresh-tasting delicacy.



Kaffir lime zest

This is a citrus fruit, from the Rutaceae family, originating from the Sunda archipelago in the Molucca Sea.
The tree and its fruit have the same name.
It was introduced in the Indian ocean and Mauritius, by Pierre Poivre at the end of the eighteenth century.

Our perfect combination : you can use the zest for your broths and soups, stews, marinades and infusions. It works wonders in the water used to cook rice.
