Whole black pepper from Mondulkiri
Piper nigrum L.
This pepper is cultivated in Cambodia's Mondulkiri, ‘Meeting of the Hills’ Province, also called "the Switzerland of Cambodia" due to its lush green hills, peaking at an altitude of 800 to 1000 metres. Mondulkiri is one of the most remote regions of Cambodia and borders Vietnam. This pepper would perfectly accompany red meats, oily fish like mackerel, sardines, tuna. It will bring out your dishes with brown sauce bases, tomatoes, marinades. Try it with white cheeses, fruit salad or stewed fruit or even with chocolate.
