Alongside smoked paprika (Pimentón), Ñora or Niora pepper is one of the most popular spices in Iberian cuisine. Niora is a very mild chilli pepper (0-1 on the simplified Scoville scale), has a strong colouring effect and a big aromatic flavour. You can use it anywhere in your day-to-day cooking, in marinades, salads, tajines, sauces, with white meat, shellfish, fish, all kinds of vegetables, oven-baked dishes, soups, mayonnaise. It is an essential ingredient of paellas and chorizo. It can also be used with deli meats, is outstanding on eggs or with rice, it will enhance salads, stews, grilled meat or can be used to flavour oils.
